Overview

Ann Salek is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association and is one of only 38 attorneys in the State of Ohio to have attained certification as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) through the National Elder Law Foundation and the Ohio State Bar Association. Ann works tirelessly to empower seniors, and those caring for them, with the knowledge to confidently navigate the many issues that arise, both legally and financially, during the aging process. Ann is skilled, knowledgeable and experienced in all the legal ins-and-outs of long term care planning including Medicaid and VA planning, capacity assessment, guardianships, powers of attorney, and advance directives, as well as general estate planning, trust and probate law.

Ann’s practice also extends to families in need of legal counsel regarding the long-term physical and financial care of persons with special needs, including the creation of special needs trusts.

Outside the office

Most of Ann’s free time involves her husband and five children.  She is either going to their sporting events, visiting them at college or their new college dorm or apartment, or spending time at the family lake house on Lake Roaming Rock with them.  As her children are “flying the coop” Ann and her husband are starting to experience semi-empty nesting and loving it!
