Heartland has been providing title and closing services in central Ohio for nearly twenty years. Each of our seven title agents are practicing attorneys with a minimum of ten years’ experience in the real estate title business. Heartland is licensed to issue title insurance through First American Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Title Insurance Company. Our friendly and experienced escrow and closing staff handle hundreds of transactions each year and they will provide accurate and timely settlement services whether your transaction involves residential, commercial or agricultural property.
Heartland offers title examination services in Ashland, Coshocton, Holmes, Knox, Medina, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties. In addition, with offices in Medina, Wooster, Millersburg, and Mt. Vernon, closing a transaction through Heartland is comfortable and convenient.

Heartland Title Agency, LLC (“HTA”) is a title agency that is in the business of providing real estate title, escrow and closing services. Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd. (“CCJ”) is a law firm that is engaged in the business of providing legal services to its clients. CCJ is the sole owner of HTA. Obtaining legal services from CCJ does not obligate you to obtain title services from HTA and obtaining title services from HTA does not obligate you to obtain legal services from CCJ.
