Overview
Andrea Uhler is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Prior to joining Critchfield, she served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and Chief Civil Prosecutor and Appellate Counsel for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Immediately prior to joining, she also served as the Court Administrator/Staff Attorney/Mediator for the Wayne County Common Pleas Court. While much of Andrea’s career has been focused on local government law, representing county and township boards, officers, and elected officials in a variety of legal matters, from issuing advisory opinions to prosecuting and defending against various legal actions in state and federal court, she also has experience representing and advising clients in foreclosure and real estate-related matters, as well as extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts and leases. An avid researcher, she also has extensive experience as an appellate attorney, practicing before the Ninth District Court of Appeals and representing the State of Ohio in felony and misdemeanor criminal matters and various county boards and elected officials in civil matters.
A native of Wayne County, Andrea has immensely enjoyed her time representing and advising the various Wayne County local government bodies, but now looks forward to new horizons at Critchfield as she grows and develops her real estate practice.
