Overview:

Attorney Peggy Schmitz has practiced law for over 40 years, starting her career as an assistant county prosecutor in Wayne County. Since joining Critchfield over 30 years ago, Peggy has focused her practice on employment and labor law matters, particularly those that entail litigation. In addition, Peggy has devoted a portion of her practice to matters related to higher education law.

She is a frequent guest speaker, trainer, and lecturer on employment and labor matters, and has published a number of articles in "The Regulatory Advisor", a monthly publication of The Council on Law in Higher Education.
