Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant position, located in our Wooster office, includes the following duties and responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties

  • Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate individuals or departments
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing conference room reservations
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to HR and Facilities Manager to include event planning
  • Maintain and organize office supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed
  • Schedule meetings, and coordinate calendars as necessary
  • Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and document management
  • Provide back-up to the Heartland Title Agency (a Critchfield subsidiary company) Accounting and Audit Specialist.

General Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an office or administrative setting
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time
