It is with great sadness that we note the passing of John Clifford Johnston III, who passed away on February 21, 2023. We called him Cliff or JC, while his high school and college friends called him Tex. But we also called him a consummate professional, a firm leader, and a mentor and dear friend to those of us who had the privilege of working with him over the years. A member of our firm for over 45 years, JC passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado.
He is survived by his wife Gennie, daughter Beth Harty, son Douglas Johnston, three grandchildren, and his brother Gordon.
