At Critchfield, we offer local high school students a unique chance to explore the legal field and professional office work in general through our after-school clerk program.

Our high school clerks actively contribute to the smooth functioning of our law offices. Responsibilities will encompass a variety of general office tasks, including:

  1. Copy and Scan Projects: Assist with document reproduction, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  2. Court Filings: Collaborate with our team to file documents with the Court of Common Pleas and Recorders offices.
  3. Errands: Run essential errands related to office operations.
  4. Mail Management: Sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  5. Additional Duties: Undertake other assigned tasks as needed to support daily office routines.

Qualifications: We seek candidates who embody the following qualities:

  • Outgoing and Professional: A friendly demeanor and professional conduct are essential in our work environment.
  • Confidentiality Awareness: Understand the sensitive nature of legal matters and adhere to our firm’s confidentiality policy.

Requirements:

  • High School Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled in high school.
  • Commitment: Clerks are expected to honor their assigned work hours and demonstrate reliability.
  • Transportation: Clerks must have a valid driver’s license and an automobile for running errands.
