Jason Burgett brings a wealth of experience spanning various areas of law to Critchfield’s Real Estate team. During his career, he has navigated the complexities of residential and commercial real estate transactions, provided strategic counsel for small business startups and planning, and addressed nuanced legal issues in juvenile and probate matters. Additionally, Burgett honed skills in municipal law while living in Burlington, Vermont.
As a solo practitioner in Wooster, Burgett embraced the multifaceted role of a full-time parent while also managing legal responsibilities. A strategic decision to minimize courtroom appearances and focus on transactional work allowed him to balance professional commitments with the demands of parenthood. During this time, he also explored personal interests in teaching and coaching at several schools in Wayne County. He is the Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 63.
